It’s been an exciting few days of preparation! Not for us just the fun of erecting the marquees, bars and stillages, racking and cooling the drinks and making the place shipshape for you, but also the panic followed by frenzy when it became clear that one of the biggest ale wholesalers wasn’t going to deliver in time! Thanks to the great reputation of our beer manager, to Jolly Good Beer, who were on-site setting up the KeyKeg, and a few kind breweries, we have a superb line-up of ales, and all the cider, perry & mead.
If you downloaded it before, there have been a few changes to the programme itself, with more generous sponsors coming on-board. The main change, of course is to the Cask Ale list, so please download again
Hi where will the Wednesday briefing be please?
The Wednesday 8 pm volunteers’ briefing will be on-site at the rugby club, most likely in the marquee.
Thanks for volunteering, see you there.
Hi, will any of the beers on offer be gluten free? And if so, is it indicated on the list? Many thanks.
A few are noted as gluten free in the tasting notes we’ve been provided amongst our cask and international beers in the list. Of course most ciders are. It will be listed on the cask ends of the real ales. If you’ve any doubts, our bar managers will be able to advise. Please ask the volunteers serving to confirm with the bar managers.
Comments, questions and answers relating to 2021’s festival have been archived to avoid confusion. With the exception of the question about dogs, which has been updated – they are very much still welcome! (At owners’ responsibility, of course).
Hi guys, very excited for the festival! Are dogs still welcome? technically they won’t be ticket holders…
(Updated comment)
Yes, dogs are still welcome.
See you soon.
