Quiz Answers and Results – Hitchin Virtual Festival

Last weekend, we announced that the overall winner of the CAMRA quiz, earning a year’s free subscription to CAMRA, was North Herts District Councillor, Ian Albert. He commented on Facebook: “Feeling modestly delighted with quiz results. Thanks so much North Herts CAMRA!”

Second place in CAMRA’s quiz went to Sophie Kelmore, who won 6 bottles of beer from CAMRA’s international cellar.

Letchworth resident Jamie Meek actually won two prizes: on the Friday he had scooped 8 pints from the Orange Tree, Baldock, by correctly answering their trivia question, then he came 3rd in the CAMRA competition, and chose to spend his winnings at the Garden City Brewery.

Jamie’s also a freelance Photographer and kindly offered to take the picture himself – now that’s a proper selfie! [https://www.facebook.com/jamiemeekphotography]

At the same shoot Jamie photographed a replica Cider Pub of the Year 2020 certificate being presented to Garden City Brewery as they celebrated the accolade AND their 4th birthday with a LOCKDOWN CIDER FESTIVAL on June 11th – 13th.
